A North Wales pub has been named among the best in the UK at the National Pub & Bar Awards 2024.
The winners in the National Pub & Bar Awards 2024 have been revealed with The George Inn, located in Norton St. Philip, taking out the top title as the best in the country.
Among the awards to be handed out at the event on Wednesday (June 26) night, 13 regional winners were announced including the best pub/bar in Wales.
This accolade went to The Bull's Head Inn, located in the North Wales town of Beaumaris.

Beaumaris pub named best in Wales
The Bull's Head Inn (Castle Street, Beaumaris, LL58 8AP) was named the regional winner for Wales at the National Pub & Bar Awards 2024.
The Beaumaris-based pub dates back to the 15th century, is Grade II listed and "seems to have retained all of the character it has acquired over the last 550 years", according to a recent review by Pub & Bar magazine (organisers of the national awards).
The Bull's Head Inn received high praise from the review (which can be read in full here) with the author - Tristan O'Hana - describing it as a "wonderful pub".
Visitors seem to agree with the high praise given, with the pub boasting a 4 out of 5 rating on Tripadvisor from 807 reviews.
It has been described by guests as a "Great DOG FRIENDLY pub/restaurant", "fabulous place" and a "great venue for quality food and service".

One visitor, commenting on Tripadvisor, said: "We popped in for a light lunch and a beer. The staff were all very professional and friendly.
"Our meals were superb... beautifully presented and very generous portions. I look forward to visiting the Bulls Head again in the future.
"It has a lot of history to it as you can tell from the building."
