On the first Saturday of each month, Walkabout Wrexham hosts their 'Brymbo Walk.'

Starting in the Enterprise Centre on Blast Road, Brymbo, groups meet at 9.45 for a 10am start.

The walk is led by two trained volunteers who each take their own group based on ability. One is a more challenging grade trek covering up to five-miles over two-hours.

There are spectacular views as the walks follow footpaths and roads through woods, fields and local villages.

The second monthly walk is called 'Bill's Walk' on the third Wednesday of the month.

Bill's longer walks are in various locations and all are graded as harder/challenging.

If stated, there is the option on some walks to enjoy lunch at a nearby pub or restaurant afterwards. Otherwise, members are encouraged to bring a packed lunch and wear strong sturdy walking boots.

As the routes often cross land containing sheep or cattle, dogs are not permitted on these walks.
