ONE PERSON was taken to hospital after a crash between a motorbike and a van in a Wrexham village.
On Tuesday (June 25), North Wales Police confirmed that Afoneitha Road in Penycae was closed due to an 'incident'.
Officers were spotted at the scene alongside a Wales Air Ambulance helicopter.
The force has now confirmed that the incident involved a crash between a motorbike and a van.
One person was taken to hospital as a result of the collision, they added.

A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "Shortly before 3.50pm on Tuesday, June 25, we were called to a report of road traffic collision in Penycae, on Afoneitha Road, involving a motorbike and a van.
"The road was closed whilst emergency services dealt with the incident. One person was taken to hospital and the road has since been cleared."
A Wales Air Ambulance spokesperson added: "We attended an incident in the Penycae region yesterday afternoon (June 25).
"Our Welshpool-based crew were allocated at 3.57pm and attended by air. They arrived at the scene at 4.20pm. Our involvement concluded at 5.10pm."
