The popular Mold Carnival is back this July, with a day full of entertainment for all of the family.

On July 7, the biggest one-day free event in the County, will takeover Kendrick's Field and the Recreational fields with celebrations kicking off from 11am and running through to 5.30pm.

The carnival committee has organised a wealth of free entertainment featuring a unique fusion of robotic comedy, music, and fun for everyone featuring Titan the Robot.

Known worldwide, Titan's show comes packed with laughter, high energy, and unexpected moments.

Titan, whose television appearances include semi-finalist on Britain's Got Talent, The Secret Life of a 5-Year Old, and The Gadget Show, has performed with notable celebrities such as Will Smith, Jackie Chan, and Rihanna.

A Mamma Mania Abba Tribute act will also be taking to the stage at the event, providing people with the chance to dance to some 70s music.

Fancy dress is optional, but highly encouraged!

Multi-award winning Mamma Mania! brings a live tribute to the Abba sound, matching the longevity of the actual Abba with over a decade's worth of performing.

The stunt performers, returning due to popular demand, have something new in store for Mold.

They've combined freestyle BMX and mountainboarding for a special aerial performance, suitable for all ages and set to be performed three times throughout the Carnival day.

Kendrick’s Field main stage will host more than 400 community performers from Buckley Cheerleaders, Urban Fusion, Dance Maniax, Cambria Band, and Black Veil Tribal to add to the entertainment with dancing, singing, and cheering.

The grand finale of the Time2Shine talent competition will also take place, along with performances from choir Cor Y Pentan, singer Mali Sigsworth, and a greeting from popular characters for the children.

If all of that isn’t enough, fun and games are ready for the kids at the Rec as well.

DJ Cookie will entertain the children with dancing and a singing competition, with performances from Stage Gems and Black Veil to add to that.

There will also be football coaching sessions provided by Ace of Sports, in addition to a Fun Fair, Army Careers stall, Crazy Golf, and a variety of other stalls.

Jane Evans, Mold Town Council events and community engagement officer, said: "The committee have been working really hard this year to ensure the day is full of fantastic entertainment and things for people to do.

"It’s free entry with lots of free entertainment to enjoy and we really do pride ourselves on trying to offer something for everyone, all ages and all abilities.

"So we are looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday 7th July on Kendricks Field and the Rec."

Ms Evans added: "FREE Community events such as Mold Carnival could not take place without our wonderful business community, and I would like to express our thanks to everyone who has supported this year’s event.

"Also a special thanks to all those who take the time to volunteer on the day, without volunteers events such as the Carnival would not take place in Mold.

"If anyone is interested in volunteering, please do get in touch with me via email events@moldtowncouncil.org.uk or call 01352 758532."

The Carnival will commence with a parade starting at Griffiths Square Car Park at 10.30am and snaking through Upper High Street, onto Earl Road, and then to Maes Bodlonfa Fields.

The Cambria Band will lead the parade for the 16th year.
