A CAR has been set alight in what is believed to be an early morning arson attack in Deeside this morning (June 25).
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service say that the vehicle was targeted on North Street in Shotton at around 1am.
They say that the fire is believed to have been 'deliberately' ignited.
The matter has been reported to North Wales Police for further investigation.

A fire service spokesperson said: "We were called at 00.59am and sent one engine from Deeside to the scene. Two hose reels, breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera were used, to extinguish the fire."
They added that nobody was injured during the incident which left the car 'destroyed'.
North Wales Police have been approached for further comment.
