WITH WARMER weather finally here, many of us will be looking for the ideal place to soak up the sun locally.
Met Office experts are are signalling the prospect of higher temperatures to come this week.
And, with that in mind, it might be the ideal opportunity to enjoy some time in one of our wonderful local beer gardens.

The Boat Inn, Erbistock
This riverside pub is the perfect place for a drink in the sun with friends and family. A beautiful setting and an impressive 4.5/5 stars.
The Dog and Pickle, Lavister
Known previously as the Nags Head, the recently refurnished pub has continued to soar with its glowing praise receiving 4.5 stars.
The Golden Lion, Rossett
With an outstanding 1,214 reviews, this gorgeous pub has plenty of outdoor space, including a tepee tent for special occasions. Yet another 4.5 stars.

The Pant Yr Ochain, Gresford
Yet another huge beer garden space featuring patio seating, picnic benches and plenty of greenery for the little ones.
This pub received 4 stars from over 1,400 impressive reviews.
The Fat Boar, Yorke Street, Wrexham
Another fantastic four-star rating from over 760 reviews, the Fat Boar (which also has another venue in Mold!) has a modern and spacious outdoor area, perfect for a light refreshment in the sun.

Top of the list is this highly-praised establishment with a glowing five-star rating from 400 reviews.
It's described as a venue with 'a good selection of beers', a 'great atmosphere' and 'very reasonably priced'.
The Cross Keys, Sychdyn
Customers have raved about the quality of Guinness from this place so it's definitely one to add to your list this summer.
It has received a five-star rating from over 100 reviews.
The Crown Inn, Lixwm
A fantastic 4.5 rating from over 200 reviews. This pub features a cosy and inviting interior to match its idyllic outdoor space.
Pen Y Bont Farm, Mold
Located just outside of Mold, there are plenty of outdoor seats to choose from, which is why it is ideal for a pint in the sun. Four-star rating from over 1,200 reviews.
The Druid Inn, Llanferres
With plenty of outdoor seating and 'delicious beer', its no wonder this gem is highly recommended on Tripadvisor. A 4.5 rating to finish a wonderful list of estbalishments.
