WELSH music will be at the centre of an event in Flintshire next month.
Hosted by The Mold Bookshop, a captivating afternoon for music enthusiasts is planned at St Mary's Church in Mold.
The event, featuring a conversation between DJ and broadcasters Huw Stephens and Adam Walton, will delve into the rich musical heritage of Wales as detailed in Huw's book, Wales - 100 records. The afternoon will be a unique opportunity to explore the rich tapestry of musical artists who have made their mark through albums performed both in English and Welsh.

Huw Stephens' exploration of Welsh music is a testament to the rich cultural tapestry of Wales and its profound impact on the global music scene.
From the iconic voices of Tom Jones, Bonnie Tyler, and Shirley Bassey to the revolutionary sounds of Cool Cymru's leading bands, including Manic Street Preachers, Stereophonics, Catatonia and Super Furry Animals, Stephens' narrative captures the essence of Welsh identity and its political expression through music.
His work not only celebrates the achievements of Welsh artists but also delves into the language and stories that have shaped the nation's musical heritage.

Huw broadcasts on BBC Radio 6 Music on his daily drive-time show, guest presents on BBC Radio 4's Saturday Live and hosts weekly shows in both English and Welsh on BBC Radio Wales and Cymru.
Starting his career on BBC Radio 1, he co-founded the Welsh Music Prize and Cardiff's Swn Festival, and is a regular on the BBC's coverage of Glastonbury Festival.
Adam Walton was brought up in Nannerch and hosts the science and technology series, Science Cafe. He is on air on Radio Wales every Saturday night from 10pm with his weekly new Welsh music show, where you can hear the likes of Sun Ra, Fairport Convention, Big Black, War and Westlife, all rubbing shoulders with the finest new Welsh musical talent.
