NORTH Wales Police have appealed to the public for any information regarding a fatal collision in a Wrexham village.
At 7.30 am on Saturday, June 22, emergency services responded to a report of a single vehicle collision involving a silver Audi S3 in the Bronwylfa area of Wrexham, between Rhosllanerchrugog and Coedpoeth.
Despite the efforts of the emergency services, a 43-year-old man from the Wrexham area was pronounced dead at the scene.
A police spokesperson said: "The man’s family have been informed and our deepest condolences go out to the man’s family and friends at this incredibly difficult time."
Sergeant Daniel Rees of the Roads Crime Unit would like to appeal for any information regarding this collision.
If anyone was in this area in the early hours of the morning on Saturday, June 22, and has either witnessed the collision, the events leading up to it or have dash cam footage of the vehicle they are asked to contact North Wales Police on 101, quoting event reference Q089998.
