UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has visited a farm shop in North Wales in the two-week run up to the General Election 2024.

This afternoon, Riski Sunak visited Swans Farm Shop in the village of Treuddyn on the outskirts of Mold.

He was shown different cuts of meat and appeared to suggest they would be nice for a “barbecue on Sunday”.

Commenting on the displays, Mr Sunak was shown a selection of local produce including chorizo jam, meats and gin.

Speaking to the staff, the Prime Minister was taught about their stock and produce, where it comes from, how it is prepared and where it is distributed to across the region.

He proceeded to hand out traditional Welsh cake, Bara Brith, to the media.

Rishi spoke to a young  apprentice at the shop, and asked about how he will qualify once the course has ended. "Are you enjoying it?", he said.

Farm shop owner Gail Swan admits she is "still on the fence" after the PM's visit regarding her vote in next month's election.
