A FLINTSHIRE man is due to be sentenced for his role in an attempted robbery.
David Lloyd, of Bryn Mawr Road in Holywell, appeared before Mold Crown Court for a Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing on Friday, June 21.
The 23-year-old pleaded guilty to a count of the attempted robbery of cigarettes and cash from Ramanan Selvarasa.
The court heard that Lloyd had taken part in the offending alongside Zane Ashford, who was sentenced to two years and eight months in jail following a hearing held last month.

David Mainstone, prosecuting, said that the defendant had been on a suspended sentence at the time of the offence which occurred on July 2 of last year.
Lloyd, appearing via video-link from HMP Berwyn, was told by Judge Niclas Parry that he would be 'given credit' for entering an early guilty plea.
He will re-appear before the court for sentencing on Thursday, July 4.
