POLICE in Wrexham are appealing for information following a rise in burglaries in the area.
In an update issued on Friday morning (June 21), North Wales Police's Wrexham Town team revealed there had been a spike in residential burglaries following a "very busy week".
The force reported there had been 271 incidents responded to between June 12 and June 20, with 38 leading to arrests.
Due to the increase in burglaries in the area, Wrexham Town police are appealing for information about the following incidents:
Gernant, anyone with any information is urged to contact police quoting reference number 24000526102.
Aston Grove, anyone with any information is urged to contact police quoting reference number 24000528007.
Box Lane, anyone with any information is urged to contact police quoting reference number 24000543260.

In addition to the residential burglaries, the force are also appealing following the theft of a 'high value' car from Lytham Court.
The incident was reported to police on June 19, with the theft likely to have taken place in the early hours.
