A MYSTERY man, known only as Mr. H from Shropshire, has won £226,335 on The National Lottery.

The lucky winner matched the five main numbers and one Lucky Star number in a EuroMillions draw in May, and plans to save the winnings for the future.

The Shropshire man, who played a personal selection of sentimental numbers via the National Lottery app, has become one of more than eight million players that win each week on The National Lottery’s range of games.

Interactive winners have the opportunity to release their name, remain anonymous or like this winner, release some details through partial publicity.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery, said: “What lovely news for Mr. H, after landing this incredible prize on EuroMillions.

“We hope he enjoys whatever he uses his new savings pot for in the future.

“Huge congratulations.”
