A FLINTSHIRE town is set to host its annual summer festival this weekend.
The Connah's Quay Festival takes place at Wepre Park on Saturday and Sunday - and promises to be bigger and better than ever.
The Saturday will see a football match played in memory of much-loved footballer and Connah's Quay resident, Jamie Wynne - who tragically took his own life.
It will take place at The Jamie Wynne Memorial Ground - the home of Connah's Quay Town, situated at Wepre Park.

The match will kick-off at 6.30pm and see a Jamie Wynne XI take on a Connah's Quay Town FC XI, with proceeds going towards Nightingale House Hospice. There will be live music from 4pm.
The Sunday will see the main festival take place, with a parade starting from the Civic Hall at 10.30am and the opening of the event by the chair of Connah's Quay Town Council at Wepre Park at 11am.
The event see live music throughout the day, a fun fair, pro wrestling, food and drink vendors, a fun dog show, stalls and more.
