A FLINTSHIRE man who threatened to kill his brother-in-law has been jailed.
Christopher Fisher, of Chester Road in Milwr, appeared before Caernarfon Crown Court on Wednesday, June 19.
The 44-year-old had previously, at a Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing held in April, admitted to one offence of making a threat to kill.
Catherine Elvin, prosecuting, told the court that the offence in question took place on February 23 of this year.
It followed on from a family dispute in which Fisher was evicted from the home of his sister, Alison Jones, and brother-in-law, Colin Roxburgh, for not paying rent.
That night in February, the defendant had paid a visit to the couple's north Wales home.
CCTV played out in court showed footage of Fisher's behaviour - which included him banging on a door and issuing numerous threats towards Mr Roxburgh, with Mrs Jones also at the home.

He could be heard shouting: "Get out here - you're a f****** dead man. I'm going to burn your f****** house, get out here big man.
"I've got lads waiting for you mate, get outside now. Open the door. You little rat. You're f****** dead."
Fisher had been on bail for another matter at the time, the court heard, and was in breach of a community order imposed on him in October 2023 by committing this offence.
Mr Roxburgh did not supply a victim personal statement, but Mrs Jones said the incident had left her feeling 'incredibly stressed', as well as 'scared and shaken'.
Amy Edwards, defending, said that Fisher accepts that his actions were 'completely inappropriate' and that he was 'remorseful'.
She added that he was someone who had been through a 'significant period' of issues involving both drugs and alcohol and also suffered from depression and anxiety.
However, Judge Timothy Petts concluded that Fisher was someone who had 'no realistic prospect of rehabilitation' at this moment in time.
The defendant was jailed for 11 months and a restraining order prohibiting him from contacting Mr Roxburgh and Mrs Jones for a period of 10 years was made.
