OVER 30 Aldi stores across the UK, including one in Wrexham will undergo refurbishments this summer.
The supermarket is set to invest more than £90m on store improvements throughout 2024.
Aldi state that over 100 stores located across the country are getting an upgrade this year.
The Wrexham store, located on Plas Coch retail park will undergo the refurbishment over the next couple of months.
Changes will vary at store level, but include providing more space to shop and ensuring stores have more sustainable features, through energy efficient technology such as installing doors on fridges to reduce energy use and using natural refrigerants to reduce carbon emissions.
Most work will take place in June, July and August.

“We’re committed to making sure that the shopping experience is on a par with the high-quality products and service we offer.
"Finding ways to reduce any environmental impact as we continue to grow our store estate across the country is also a vital part of these changes.”
