A FLINTSHIRE animal rescue centre is appealing to the public to find three beautiful dogs their forever home.

Almost Home Dog Rescue, based in Mold, provides a safe haven for abandoned dogs before uniting them with their new home and owner.

It also aims to support and educate the next generation of dog owners to prevent an increase in the number of pets being carelessly neglected.

Anyone interested in the following pups should fill out the adoption form.

Meet Spiro

At around six-months old, Husky Spiro is a stray who sadly was never claimed by his previous owner.

He is a 'happy go lucky' kind of boy, very switched on and needs an active home - someone willing to put the time and effort in for him t blossom.

Spiro is great with people and other dogs. He loves his food, playing and lots of cuddles. He's still learning manners and social skills but there's no malice in him. He's simply young and full of character and life.

Spiro loves exploring, car rides, and has been brilliant at the vets. He adores all the attention he gets, he laps it all up. He has passed a full health check, started his vaccinations, been flead / wormed and is now booked in to be neutered when he is ready.

This lad is going to be so much fun for someone but he needs structure, routine and plenty of mental and physical stimulation. Spiro is hopefully ten year plus commitment.

Meet Nessa

Nessa is an 8/9 month old bulldog who was sadly stray. Looking at her appearance, she's never had a caring or loving home.

She's friendly and great with everyone she meets. She is super friendly, loves her playtime and her cuddles. At the vets, Nessa was more than happy to be handled and assessed.

She’s started her vaccinations, been flead and wormed as well as booked in to be spayed. She has had a medicated bath and was prescribed some antibiotics for her skin.

This girl is going to be an amazing addition to someone’s house! She is great in the car and will walk solo or with other dogs. When she’s out and about she loves a good sniff in the lanes.

Meet Willow

At around one-year-old, Willow doesn't let her shyness get in the way. She walks amazingly on a lead and is good with everyone she meets.

She adores sunbathing and is happy walking solo or with other dogs. Willow enjoys her food and is starting to trust a little more each day. She travels well in the car and isn’t worried by passing traffic when walking.

She adores looking for squirrels when she out walking! Sadly she doesn’t seem to know what toys are however she’ll learn over time.

Willow was nervous at the vets but did well and passed her health check. She's now started her vaccinations, been flead and wormed and will be spayed in the coming days.
