THE Met Office is predicting a warm and dry week across Wrexham and Flintshire.
The weather has been fairly miserable in the UK so far this year, with consistent rain and overcast conditions.
However, the Met Office's forecast for the week appears to be brighter than recent weeks.
The weather experts are predicting a drier and warmer week across Wrexham and Flintshire with highs of around 20C later this week.
Today (June 17) is set to be a fairly cloudy day to start, before turning sunnier later in the day, which seems to be the case for most of the week.
A Met Office spokesperson said: "Today: A cloudy start for most but breaking up into sunny spells during the afternoon. A chance of the odd shower but most places seeing a dry day. Light winds and feeling pleasant in the sunshine. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

"Tonight: Showers easing this evening. Turning cloudier in the north of the country, and more clearer spells to the south where it will feel cooler with some mist and fog possible. Minimum temperature 8 °C.
"Tuesday: A dry and fine day for most with plenty of sunny spells. Fair weather cloud bubbling up through the day and feeling warm in light winds. Maximum temperature 19 °C.
"Outlook for Wednesday to Friday: Largely dry for the remainder of the week, though cloudier at times. Feeling warm in the sunnier interludes and winds light throughout."
