WREXHAM Council has sent out a reminder to its residents who are signed up to its garden waste collection scheme that the current service is valid until February 2025.
This reminder comes as residents may notice that their bin sticker says that collections expire at the end of August.
That is not the case, though, as last year, the service was extended until next February.
A council spokesperson said: “The current garden waste service now runs until February 28, 2025.
“Please ignore the information on your bin sticker, as it’s not up to date.”

Residents who have not already subscribed to the garden waste collection service are still entitled to sign up to it.
More information about the service can be found on the council’s website, where you can also check your bin collection days.
Wrexham Council extended the garden waste collection service last October, with collections having resumed in February 2024 following a period of strike action.
