FIREFIGHTERS released two people from a vehicle following a collision late last night.
Emergency services were called to the scene of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Chester Road in Malpas, shortly after 11pm on Friday (June 14).
One fire engine from Malpas attended.
In a post on social media shortly before midnight, a spokesman for the Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters are currently at the scene of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Chester Road, Malpas. Please avoid the area if possible."
The service added: "Firefighters have released two casualties to be cared for by paramedics."
They said police closed the road in both directions while the incident was being dealt with.
