A DEDICATED mother and ex-nurse is launching her new fresh and delicious sandwich shop in Flintshire.
Situated in Mold's Indoor Market, Sandwich Box serves homemade sandwiches, baguettes and panini's.
Following a successful trial launch on June 13, local mother of five Samantha Williams is thrilled to finally pursue her dream of owning a business.
After working as a registered NHS nurse for 13-years, Samantha knew it was time for a career change when her son's devastating battle with mental health meant he was diagnosed with hypoxia brain injury in February 2023.
Samantha said: "I worked for BCUHB and also as a track and trace nurse during the Covid pandemic, but I decided to give up my nursing to become my son's carer.
"He will always have hypoxia brain and suffers from short-term memory loss. Thankfully, he is now in a much better place with support from myself and family.
"He passed his car theory test and is learning to drive. He's now in a better place mentally and is looking forward to making a brighter future with his baby daughter.
"Since he is on mend and recovering well, I decided now was the best time to set up my own sandwich shop within my home town of Mold offering freshly made sandwiches.
"I've always had a passion to set up my own family business so that I can spend more time with my children and hopefully pass on the shop to them one day."
Every item is made to order, including pre-orders. The menu offers a huge variety of delicious sandwiches, cakes, salad boxes and drinks, with specials and meal deals available, also.

Samantha adds: "Our freshly cut meats go onto the baps from CJ butchers based in Mold so everything is local. We also buy our bread and free range eggs from local businesses.
"We also have a small seating area for anyone who would like to come along for a cuppa and a slice of cake. We will also be adding vegan options in the near future."
You can find Sandwich Box at Unit 6 inside the Daniel Owen Precinct, open from 10am until 4pm.
