POLICE seized a vehicle which was on cloned number plates which had just been bought.
North Wales Police's North Flintshire team said officers stopped a vehicle in Deeside yesterday which was on cloned number plates - the person driving had only just bought the car.
A spokesperson said: "That vehicle has now been seized and that person is out their cash.
"A warning, that if something sounds to good to be true it probably is. If the price is too low that should be a red flag."

They added: "Cloning number plates is just as it sounds, criminals find a number plate of a car of the same make, model colour etc. Get a number plate made up with that registration (or steal the plates from your vehicle) and start committing crime.
"Victims don't realise it's happening until they get tickets or are stopped by police.
"There are teams in the background and super clever computer systems that identify when this has happened."
