LOCAL country artist Megan Lee is hosting an evening of country music on Sunday, June 30, to raise funds for Wrexham Sounds.

Wrexham Sounds is a not-for-profit organisation that transforms disadvantaged young lives through music.

Based in Rhosrobin, it provides a range of services aimed at improving the confidence, skills and wellbeing of children and young people facing health, educational and social challenges or unable to access musical activities at school.

Megan Lee, vocal coach at Wrexham Sounds, is getting together with fellow artists Tom Wright, Stuart Landon and local musician Bobby-Jo Pritchard to put on a night of original music and well-known country hits.

‘Sounds Country’ takes place at Hickory’s, Wrexham, with music starting from 6pm.

Winning tickets for the Wrexham Sounds summer raffle will be drawn on the night with a selection of great prizes donated by local businesses.
