AN ESTABLISHED UK fitness-brand has proudly opened its latest business venture in the heart of Wrexham.
UK-based fitness centre Foundry Gym has launched its latest branch in Wrexham, occupying the former Sports Direct building (Unit B12) in Eagles Meadow Shopping Centre.
Showing her support, Mayor of Wrexham Cllr Beryl Blackmore attended the official opening on Saturday, June 8.
She said: "It was a lovely visit to The Foundry Gym on Saturday. All the staff were very welcoming and pleased to see me.
"I loved cutting the ribbon and wishing the owner and staff a really successful launch. The gym closing in Plas Coch left people unhappy, and speaking outside to the queue of people, there was excitement in the air.
"I thought the layout and equipment in the gym were top notch [and] judging by the crowd outside it should be a success. The free parking is great, and 24 hour suits shift workers. I intend to visit in a couple of months just to say hello."
Branch owners Jennifer Mary Daniel and Ross Whetton said: "It was an honour to have Cllr Beryl Blackmore open our new facility in Eagles Meadow shopping centre.
