Gardening enthusiasts are being called upon to help out at a historic home in Llangollen.
Plas Newydd, the former home of Lady Eleanor Butler and Miss Sarah Ponsonby has launched volunteering opportunities for individuals interested in both gardening and history.
Over the years, the home was transformed into a Gothic fantasy of projecting stained glass and elaborately carved oak.
The Grade II listed gardens span ten acres, showcasing a mixture of rose gardens, woodland, and dell areas.

A naturally flowing stream completes the gardens.
The staff are inviting interested volunteers to learn gardening tips and tricks, alongside offering their assistance.
Emlyn Jones, head of planning, public protection and countryside services, said: "This is a great opportunity for residents interested in gardening to boost their wellbeing by spending time helping in this wonderful garden."
He also highlighted the importance of the house, mentioning that, "Plas Newydd is such an important piece of Llangollen’s history and this a fantastic chance to do you own bit to help preserve this area for the local community and future visitors to continue to enjoy and learn from."
