A 27-year-old man has been taken to Stoke hospital with serious injuries following an incident in Wrexham.
Emergency services responded to a report of an assault at a property in the Acton area of Wrexham shortly after 2.45pm today (Wednesday, June 5).
A 19-year-old man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of wounding and has been taken to custody, North Wales Police said.
Acting Detective Inspector Claire Roberts said: “This was a contained incident that has now concluded, and we have no ongoing concerns for the community.
“Thank you to residents for their support whilst emergency services dealt with the incident that has now concluded.”
Witnesses reported seeing multiple police vehicles and ambulances in the vicinity of the Four Dogs pub on Chester Road. An air ambulance also landed nearby and airflited the casualty to hospital.
