A banned driver who attempted to fool police by giving false details has been sentenced for a further motoring offence.
James Roberts, of Daisy Road in Brynteg, was jailed on May 23 for two offences of driving whilst disqualified and two of committing acts with intent to pervert the course of justice.
The court heard he'd given police another man's details when stopped twice in March and July last year.
For those crimes, he received an eight month custodial sentence - but the court heard he hadn't learned his lesson when being stopped because he had been caught driving whilst banned again in December.
Roberts appeared at Wrexham Magistrates Court on Tuesday via video link from prison to be sentenced for that incident of driving whilst disqualified, as well as driving without insurance.

Prosecutor Rhian Jackson explained officers spotted Roberts driving a Mercedes vehicle in Salop Road on December 22.
They followed the defendant to a Lidl car park, where he got out and walked towards the store.
When challenged, he admitted he had no licence as he was disqualified.
Roberts told the police he'd driven in order to buy food.
Laura MacMillan, defending, made limited representation to the court, explaining her client had entered a guilty plea to the offence at the earliest opportunity, but his sentence had been adjourned numerous times to await the outcome of his Crown Court proceedings in May.
She said: "The Crown Court Judge was aware of these offences when making his determination and sentencing him to immediate custody.
"[Roberts] has informed me his earliest release date is seven weeks from today."
District Judge Gwyn Jones told the court that in the interest of totality, the sentence he had in mind would not impact on that release date.
Despite finding that the offences were so serious that only immediate custody could be justified, the Judge handed down a 12 week sentence to be served concurrently, as well as an 18 month driving ban.
