'PITCHUP' has shared their shortlist of the best camping, glamping and caravan sites based on nearly 200,000 customer reviews last year.
To feature in the list, sites must have achieved an average rating of 8 or above across at least 20 reviews in 2023. They rely solely on customer feedback to ensure the list is unbiased and reflects real user experiences.
Here are the top ten from across the region:
1. Clwydian Holidays, Ruthin, Denbighshire - A peaceful farm site with stunning views and a 20-minute drive from Moel Famau. This site is a place to relax and admire natural beauty.
2. Maes Carafanau Llanbenwch Caravan Park, Ruthin, Denbighshire - Friendly, family-run site with at least two weeks' worth of things to do and see. Easy reach of adventures and attractions for all tastes.
3. The Paddocks Caravan and Camping, Llanystumdwy - 15-minute drive from Snowdonia. Another great family-run site. Ultra-organised with spacious pitches. Plus, there is a beach just a five-minute drive away!
4. Campio Andy Camping, Anglesey - With views of Snowdonia. A 10-minute drive from the beach and the Newborough nature reserve. A lovely tents only site with gorgeous views.
5. Presaddfed, Anglesey - A peaceful rural campsite in open countryside on a farm, 15 minutes away from Trearddur Bay beach. Close to walks, shops and a pub. Perfect for nature lovers.
6. New Inn, Bryneglwys Village - A laidback 8.5-acre site just 25-minutes from Bala and 40-minutes from Chester. Fresh eggs, friendly farm animals and a chilled site in a quiet corner of Denbighshire.
7. Haulfryn Caravan Park, Talacre - A contemporary park in a peaceful and scenic setting. Just 20 minutes from the Talacre coast and a short distance from the local village. Haulfryn means 'Sunny Hill.'
8. Bach Wen, Caernarfon - Access to a private beach with sea views across the site. This is a beautiful secluded spot for a relaxing family getaway.
9. Bryn Ednyfed Caravan Site - Centrally located Anglesey site six miles from the sandy beaches and rocky coves of Trearddur Bay. Modern, well-lit and convenient.

10. Ceiriog Valley Park, Llangollen - Riverside park with Berwyn mountain views. In the perfect spot for fishing, valley views and hikes of a spectacularly scenic nature.
