WREXHAM'S off-duty officers are set to take on their next charity match for yet another wonderful cause.
After being defeated by Andy's Man Club last month, Wrexham Police FC will be challenging Full Time on Cancer FC to raise crucial funds for the Wrexham Maelor Children's Ward.

It was great to meet @RMcElhenney and personally thank him for the incredible support we’ve received from both the co chairmen of @Wrexham_AFC. They are both truly amazing!

Last year, they raised an outstanding £11,000 for the ward that funded specialist oncology equipment.
This time, the money will create an outdoor space for children and their families to share quality time away from the ward.

Over the past couple of years, the team has proudly broken barriers, created new friendships and raised over £44,000 for local charities and organisations across Wrexham and the north Wales region.
In addition to the match which will take place on Saturday, June 22 at 12pm, the lads have been kindly donated a signed shirt from the Everton Football Club which will be auctioned off.
Founder of Wrexham Police FC Sgt Dave Smith said: "Any donations, big or small deal will help make a real difference.

"We really do appreciate the support from the community, it’s truly incredible."
Every penny raised will help fund some of the added extras - big and small - that go above and beyond what the NHS is able to provide, making a real difference for local patients and their families when they need it the most.
Everyone is encouraged to attend the match at Colliers Park and show their support for another worthy cause.
