A MAN has been fined after police found cannabis in his vehicle.
Matthew Colvin, of Harwd Road in Brymbo, appeared at Wrexham Magistrates Court on Monday morning.
The 52-year-old admitted that on December 29 last year, he had in his possession a quantity of cannabis.
Prosecutor Justin Espie told the court that on the day of the offence, police attended an address in Brymbo for a matter which had not come before the court.
Colvin was arrested and in his vehicle, officers found and seized a small bag of cannabis.

Euros Jones, defending, asked the court to take his client's early guilty plea into account.
He said: "He suffers with PTSD and has been self medicating due to a number of issues.
"He's on long term sick at the moment."
Mr Jones said the cannabis found was for "personal use," and asked the court to consider fining the defendant.
The court handed down a £400 fine and ordered the defendant to pay a £160 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
