A BRITAIN'S Got Talent semi-finalist act featuring youngsters from across the region has thanked everyone for their support.

After being invited onto the ITV talent show by judges Simon Cowell and Bruno Tonioli, the 133 superstars took to the stage for their memorable audition which was viewed by over 12 million people.

The 'AmaSing' choir earned their place in the semi-finals and sang their hearts out in Friday's live show (May 31).

Sadly, they did not make the final top three, but choir director Rachael Borman has expressed their gratitude for the support they have received.

She said: "The whole experience has been incredible for all our children families and staff. To have even got to the live semi finals of BGT was something we never expected and the whole AmaSing team are so grateful to everyone who has supported us on our journey in this process.

"A huge thank you to the amazing teachers, friends and family who volunteered their time to safe guard the children, to all the families, public and famous people who voted for them and to the wonderful BGT team and judges who work so hard to create the amazing show.

"We have loved every minute of it and are thrilled with how brilliant all the children have been."

The children involved come from a diverse range of backgrounds, needs and abilities from Cheshire, Wrexham and Flintshire.

AmaSing is an inclusive non-profit arts organisation and charity that supports young people’s mental health and well being through exciting creative arts opportunities.

Rachael added: "It has been wonderful to see how these children have grown in confidence and their excitement to perform and have fun was infectious.

"We are super proud of them all and this will definitely be an amazing experience they will never forget so thank you to everyone who has made it possible."

The choir sang an original song which received huge praise from the four judges including Alisha Dixon who said "We loved every minute of it, we're proud of each and every one of you."
