THE MET Office has confirmed a 'largely dry' week ahead across Wrexham and Flintshire.

Kicking off the first week in June, today will see a cloudy and damp start in places, with some patchy drizzle mainly on hills. 

Otherwise, the forecast for Wales will be largely dry with the cloud breaking up to give some bright or sunny spells during the afternoon. Feeling warm in the sunshine, with light winds. There will be a maximum temperature in 22 °C.

Tonight will be dry with variable cloud and clear spells overnight. It will becoming increasingly cloudy, with some patchy drizzle on hills by dawn.

The Met Office predicts a mild night, locally cooler under the clearest spells. Light winds. Minimum temperature 6 °C.

Tomorrow (Tuesday, June 4) will see another cloudy and damp start in places, otherwise, largely dry and bright at first.

There will be a band of cloud and rain, locally heavy, will sweep southeastwards during the afternoon. It will generally feel fresher with maximum temperatures of 18 °C.

A spokesperson confirmed the outlook for Wednesday to Friday and said: "Largely dry with sunny spells Wednesday, perhaps the odd shower. Dry with sunny spells Thursday.

"A band of rain may sweep south Friday. Temperatures near normal, with notably chilly nights."
