DEDICATED Everton supporters have raised a fantastic total for Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
Founded in 1996, the Everton Supporters Club Wrexham branch has over 100 members who, as part of the organisation, attend home games at Goodison Park.
The club has two coaches, one that leaves Chirk and one Wrexham.
Every year, the club has a nominated charity. In the past few years, they have supported Prostate Cancer and Tots and Teens (for children with diabetes).
Treasurer John Evans said this year's charity is the Renal Unit at Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
He explained this decision was made as a wife of one of their club members recently had support from the wonderful service provided by the unit.
A special fundraising event held earlier in May saw an evening with Everton legend Peter Reid where a raffle and auction was held for Everton memorabilia.
Fans could ask questions and listen to Peter's career highlights all for a worthwhile cause.

In total, £1,500 was raised.
On May 31, John Hughes, Ken Bayley, Barry Davies and Denzil Pemberton representing the supporters club handed over a cheque to the Renal Unit.
The dedicated team of fans hope their contribution will make a difference and go towards new life-saving equipment.
