Britain's Got Talent: 'Amasing' children's choir in semi-final

On Sunday, May 12 millions tuned in to watch the 'Amasing' children's choir take to the stage in their BGT audition, organised by director Rachael Borman.

During the episode, judges Simon Cowell and Bruno Tonioli surprised the young stars at their school's end-of-term party before inviting them onto the show.

Rachael explained: "We are an arts organisation and charity, we work with thousands of kids, supporting mental health through the arts, and I just thought that they deserve something really special and really exciting."

After receiving a big yes from each of the judges, the choir has been rehearsing for the live semi-finals which have aired every night this week at 8pm.

While BGT is the choir's biggest audience yet, they had everyone up on their feet and smiling as they sang 'Be Who You Wanna Be.'

Jessica Roberts is one of five girls from Black Lane School in Wrexham performing as part of the 140-strong children's choir. Neive Millington, Isla Curly, Eliza Fisha and Isabelle Tattum will also join her.

Proud mum Lisa Roberts said: "Rehearsals have gone really well and what a wonderful experience for them all organised by Rach at AmaSing.

"We are very proud and feeling both nervous and excited for Friday's performance. Fingers crossed they get lots of votes and positive feedback from the judges.

"The parents are going down to support and cheer them on."

The talented youngsters are set to continue making the region proud with their dedication and high-spirited energy.
