A FLINTSHIRE animal rescue centre is appealing to the public to find three beautiful dogs their forever home.
Almost Home Dog Rescue, based in Mold, provides a safe haven for abandoned dogs before uniting them with their new home and owner.
It also aims to support and educate the next generation of dog owners to prevent an increase in the number of pets being carelessly neglected.
Anyone interested in the following pups should fill out the adoption form here.
Meet Freddie
Sadly his owner is terminally ill and therefore they have made the right decision for them both. He is 16 months old and is Lhasa cross lab. Freddie went straight in to foster once arriving in our care and has been the perfect house guest.
He is great with people and other dogs. Previously he did live with a cat but he will chase from time to time. Freddie is house-trained and travels well too.
At the vets, he was lapping up the attention and enjoying being the star of the show. He’s passed a full health check and is weighing in at 22kg. Freddie is vaccinated, neutered and up to date with flea and worm.
This boy loves his walks. He can be strong to start with when one lead but soon settles. He loves long walks and plenty of sniffing. He knows basic commands and really does enjoy using his brain.
Freddie is going to make a fab addition to someone’s life. He isn’t used to being left so needing company most of the time. He needs someone who is going to excerise his mind and body and allow him to live life to the full!
Meet Horace
Horace was a stray who never got claimed. He is a hound and is around 18 months old.
He is the sweetest boy however he is very submissive and scared of new places. Thankfully he is adapting well and now understands he is safe.
Horace has been great with other dogs and new people, he just needs a moment to know you aren’t a threat to him. He adores being off lead in the paddock and turns in to a puppy again.
The world outside is a little scary but he was amazing at the vets. He was happy to be handled and passed a full health check. He just needs to gain some condition. However he started his vaccinations, flead and wormed, he’ll be neutered when ready.
Horace loves a cuddle and zoomies, as well as his food! He will blossom in the right home and would benefit from living with other dogs to show him the ropes.
We know his confidence will grow quickly and he’ll soon be the happy outgoing lad we know he can be.
Meet Daisy
Daisy is a young husky who sadly was a stray who was never claimed. She is a sweet girl who has had a level of basic training in the past.

This girl is well mannered around other dogs and people. Daisy walks very well on lead for a husky and is a good traveller. She is more than happy jumping in and out of a vehicle.
Daisy was a star at the vets, passed a health check and is booked in to be spayed. She has now started her vaccinations, has been flead, wormed and will be spayed soon enough.
She really enjoys being out and about and doing whatever you are doing. Daisy needs an active and loving home where she can be a member of the family. She adores her cuddles and is great at being groomed and handled!
