WREXHAM is hosting Pride, the first event of its kind in the city and a wonderful celebration of diversity.

Taking place on Saturday, July 27, Wrexham Pride will be an inclusive space for people of all identities to come together and embrace love and inclusion.

The family-friendly event will showcase the rich tapestry of the LGBTQ+ community and allies in the Wrexham area.

The Leader:

It will feature a colourful, inclusive and accessible march leaving Llwyn Isaf at 1.30pm.

Following the march, a community space on Llwyn Isaf with local community organisations and information stalls will be available, as well as crafts, activities for children and young people.

People are encouraged to bring their own picnics to enjoy whilst being entertained by a variety of acts performing on the bandstand. There will also be a quiet space.

From 10am in Queen's Square, a street market made up of local businesses will offer a fantastic array of food and drinks, and arts and crafts - all supporting and promoting the theme of diversity and inclusion.

After party events will be held in a number of local establishments that will carry on late into the evening.
