WREXHAM residents are being encouraged to show their support for the monthly street market.

On Saturday, June 1 Wrexham will host another fantastic market featuring independent traders with an array of goods on offer.

There will be a wonderful selection of local produce, unique gifts and handmade crafts, as well as street food stalls and an undercover seating area for you to socialise.

This weekend, there will also be a great selection of drinks, ice cream and sweet treats, as well as a bar that will serve beers and cocktails.

The market will have live music and plenty of entertainment throughout the day, featuring local musicians. A children's face painter will be on site alongside plenty of games - all completely free.

Organiser Fern Evans said: "We wanted there to be something free to do for both kids and adults every month in the city centre, and since we’ve introduced the live music and the free kids games our street markets have become really popular.

"There’s definitely something there for everyone, whether you’re looking for something to do with the kids or you just want to come and enjoy the free entertainment with a drink and a bite to eat.

"We really appreciate all the support we’ve had so far and hope these markets can grow to be bigger and better each month throughout the year."

The event will start at 10am until 4pm at Queen's Square in Wrexham City Centre and will go ahead, rain or shine!

It promises to be a great day for the whole family and a fantastic opportunity to support local and independent business that make the event possible.
