POLICE in rural Wrexham have been patrolling over the weekend following concerns about anti-social behaviour and off-road bikes.
PCSO Dean Sawyer of the Wrexham rural policing team confirmed on Sunday that officers have been patrolling in the Overton area.
It comes after an "anti-social behaviour incident" which occurred on Friday night, he said, adding: "Pleased to say no repeat so far."
PCSO Sawyer also carried out patrols in the Plas Madoc area over the weekend following reports of off-road bikes in the area, as well visiting the Plas Madoc Leisure centre to discuss youth anti-social behaviour.
He said: "No issues have been reported there."
