A NEW police dog is off to a "flying start" after tracking down a wanted man in Flintshire.
Cheshire and North Wales Police Dogs said PD assisted officers in Buckley searching for a wanted man who’d made off into gardens.
Freya located the man hiding in a shed who surrendered saying: “I’ll run from the officers, but I won’t run from the dog - I don’t want to get bit”.
After sharing the news on Facebook, numerous people commented praising PD Freya for her work.
One person said: "This is one magnificent dog. Good job Freya. As ever keep each other safe."
Another added: "Congratulations PD Freya and handler."
