POLICE have conducted speed checks in areas of Wrexham following reports of speeding.
North Wales Police's Wrexham Rural team confirmed they had been out on patrol earlier this week around Brynteg and surrounding areas.
The patrols come following reports of speeding in the area, with the council in the process of installing new interactive speed signs.
A NWP spokesperson said: "Speed checks were also conducted on Wrexham Road and Dale Road in New Broughton after receiving reports of speeding, council are also in the process of installing interactive speed signs in the area.
"Regular checks will be conducted in the area."
