A CHILD was flown to Alder Hey hospital after being struck by a car, police have confirmed.
The Flintshire north policing team previously confirmed that a call was received on Monday regarding a "serious injury collision" involving a child.
A spokesman for the force has since confirmed to the Leader: "Shortly before 5pm yesterday (Monday, May 20), we received a call from the Welsh Ambulance Service reporting a child had been struck by a car on private land in the Queensferry area.
"Officers attended alongside colleagues from the ambulance service and the air ambulance.
"The child was later flown to Alder Hey hospital."
