The Leader reported on Monday afternoon how the mountain pass above Llangollen was closed following the incident.
Police urged motorists to avoid the area as emergency teams dealt with the situation.
An eye-witness said a car had come off the road and ended up in a ravine.

"A multi-agency response commenced involving Police, WAST, NWFRS, Helimed and Mountain Rescue Team personnel.
"The road was closed whilst the incident was dealt with, and remained closed this morning whilst recovery of the vehicle was undertaken."
