WREXHAM has hosted its first-ever Night Market 'after hours social' which went down a treat.
After months of planning and preparations, residents could finally enjoy the first Wrexham Night Market held on Friday, May 17.
Queen's Square was bustling with live music and more stalls than we could count serving everything from gooey brownies to tender chicken strips.
Starting at 3pm until late, the crowds remained high in numbers with fantastic performances from artists included Karl Joseph, Stephen from Abstract and The Tramps.
One individual said: “I didn’t think this many people would be here, it’s really nice to see how that the sun is shining.”
Another added: “The stalls are always fantastic. I used to go to the markets every Saturday and it’s great to see the traders here this afternoon. It’s hard to choose what to go for!”

The event had plenty of seating for everyone to socialise and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere with friends and family.
The market is also proudly sponsored by UKSPF created by Fair Event Management Ltd with great support from the Wrexham Council.
If you missed the event, organisers are holding three more this summer on June 21, July 19 and August 30.
