THE OWNERS of weighing scales recovered by police in a stop search said they were used for "baking".
North Wales Police's North Flintshire team said it conducted stop searches in the area around Flint Castle on Thursday (May 16) following reports from concerned members of the public.
They recovered weighing scales and numerous small plastic bags.
A spokesperson said: "We discovered the below, which the owners assured us was for "baking".
"Because we weren't born yesterday we've taken it away - and we'll be submitting more intel for the area - which means more patrols, more stops until we stop seeing issues in the area."
