CHAPTERHOUSE is delighted to be returning to Wrexham for their 25th anniversary summer tour.
This summer, Wrexham residents will have the opportunity to enjoy three incredible Chapterhouse shows at Erddig Hall - Beauty and the Beast, Little Women, and Pride and Prejudice.
Theatre under the open sky is the perfect pastime for those long summer evenings, and audiences are welcome to relax with a picnic while they watch the show unfold.
This year marks Chapterhouse Theatre Company’s 25th anniversary of touring theatre in the UK and Ireland, bringing to life some of literature’s best loved classics in magical outdoor performances that are great fun for all the family.
Beauty and the Beast
Saturday, June 22 at 6.30pm.
A brand-new telling of this classic fairy tale. When an arrogant prince is cursed to live as a hideous beast, his only hope is a kindly young woman in search of a rose.
Featuring a delightful cast of specially crafted puppets, lively original songs and sparkling humour, Chapterhouse Theatre Company’s rollicking new adaptation of Beauty and the Beast is perfect for all the family.
Little Women

Meet headstrong Jo March and her sisters Meg, Amy, and Beth. Each sister is determined to pursue her own path in life, but though their dreams may be different, their family ties remain as strong as ever.
An uplifting and heartfelt tale of the March sisters’ journey into adulthood and all the trials and triumphs that come with it, Little Women features authentic costuming and a beautiful musical score.
Pride and Prejudice

With stunning period costume, timeless wit, and a romantic original score, Chapterhouse’s Pride and Prejudice is a faithful telling of Austen’s greatest work. Join family and friends for an evening of magical theatre as they bring the world’s favourite love story to gardens and grounds across the country.
The company have performed at the UK and Ireland’s most stunning historic venues, working with the likes of The National Trust and English Heritage as well as many cathedrals and stately homes to bring classic stories to life into the perfect setting.
