THE new management team at the helm of a Wrexham pub have decided to keep its current name.
Earlier this year, it was confirmed that Wrexham AFC's Jordan Davies will be part of the new management team for the Croes Howell bar and restaurant situated on Straight Mile between Rossett and Llay.
We have decided to stick with the original name of Croes Howell. We had hundreds of messages asking to stick with the name due to the Welsh heritage!

Joining forces with director of the Far Boar, Richard Watkin, the pair have worked hard to get the venue up and running for the summer.
The grand opening was held on Saturday, May 11 and many customers were speculating what the new business name would be.
In March, Jordan took to social media to request suggestions to "freshen it up".
Many were linked to its location including 'The Straight Mile' and 'Miner's Mile', while others were inspired by the club such as 'Llay Ras' and 'The Mull Inn.'
However, earlier today the 25-year-old Wrexham midfielder from Coedpoeth confirmed it will remain as the Croes Howell.
On 'X' Jordan said: "We have decided to stick with the original name of Croes Howell. We had hundreds of messages asking to stick with the name due to the Welsh heritage.

After announcing a shock closure in November 2023, the 400-year-old venue has been undergoing renovations ever since the takeover was announced.
Customers are invited to join the new team at the Croes Howell on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for drinks with food to launch by the end of May.
