ARRIVA bus prices for people travelling to Wrexham and Chester are set to increase this month.
Adult single fares will generally increase by between 20p and 40p, with proportionate changes to return and child fares also made.
Adult day tickets for all services to Wrexham and Chester are increasing from £4.60 to £5.10 from Sunday, May 26. Weekly adult tickets will go up from £15 to £17, and an adult three-day bundle will increase from £13 to £14.
Day ticket prices for children will increase from £3/£3.10 to £3.40, and weekly tickets to Wrexham will rise from £10 to £11, and from £10 to £12 for weekly Chester tickets. Four-weekly child tickets will go up from £40 to £43.

Annual adult tickets will be priced at £540, and for £360 children.
Adult day tickets covering services across all of North Wales and Chester are going up from £5.90 to £6.30, and child tickets up from £3.90 to £4.20. An adult three day bundle is going up by £1, and the same for a child weekly ticket.
An Arriva spokesperson said: "Our fares have not increased since September 2022 and we have had to make this tough decision due to increasing running costs, which none of us will have failed to notice.
"Our customers will see that on average day tickets will be going up by between 30p or 40p, with weekly tickets changing between £1 and £1.50 and there are a range of other changes detailed on our website."
