THE Vale vintage machinery show is to return again to Ty Ucha Farm Caerwys, Flintshire, for two-days only this summer.
On July 6 and 7, the show will showcase preserved vintage machinery and vehicles whilst being a family friendly day out.
Attractions will include steam engines, commercial vehicles, classic and veteran cars, stationary engines, military vehicles, motorcycles, classic caravans, pedal cycles, horticultural equipment, machinery and Land Rovers.
There will also be a large display of tractors and farm machinery, those attending the two days with their tractors will be in with a chance of a prize rosette as they will be judged in various categories.
With the emphasis on being a family friendly event the admission cost is £7.50 for adults and accompanied children under 16s free. This year will see a dedicated children’s area where you will find plenty of attractions and activities to keep the little ones and not so little ones happy throughout the day.
If retail is your thing there will be a range of local crafts on sale in the craft marquee and also the dedicated outdoor trade area will have stalls selling items from plants to model cars and gifts and also a selection of catering vendors and a licenced bar.
You can also marvel at the exhibits parading around the main arena or watch various live demonstrations that can be found doted around the showground.
Once again Vale vintage machinery show will host a fun dog show which is kindly sponsored by Eye-vet referral’s and supported both days by Almost home dog rescue.
Chairman Maredudd Davies said: “We at Vale Vintage Machinery club are a small group of volunteers that organise the two day show. We are again returning to Ty Uchaf Farm by kind permission of Elfed and Nerys Thomas and I must thank them for allowing us the use of their land.

"This venue has enabled the show to grow even more over the past couple of years but that would not be possible without the hard work our team put in throughout the year to organise the show.
"In such a difficult economic climate we want to make the show value for money hence allowing accompanied under 16 children in to the show for free and keeping admission fee as low as we possibly can for the adults that attend, this will hopefully enable families to have more fun and make the most of their day at the show.
"We look forward to welcoming everyone to the show on the 6th & 7th of July."
