A FLINTSHIRE cafe is set to be re-evaluated following a low score from the Food Standards Agency.
Situated on the Sandycroft Industrial Estate in Deeside, Cafe Pit Stop offers eat in and takeaway services to its customers.
The cafe proudly displays an array of sports memorabilia on its walls; from football to golf to football. It also features both indoor and outdoor seating, is disabled friendly and has free parking available.
Following an assessment on March 21 this year, the Food Standards Agency awarded the cafe a two-out-of-five rating.
In response, a spokesperson from the cafe said: "Unfortunately we let ourselves down on paperwork management, untreated toilet door ie not varnished, and a slightly damaged vinyl floor in the kitchen.
"This has now been rectified and we are waiting for a re-rating which we have been told could be up to 3 months.
"We would like to reassure our customers that none of the issues were food related, it was cosmetic and paperwork related.
"We thank our customers for their continued support."

Customer reviews have previously praised the business on its "reasonable prices" and "fantastic service", as stated on Tripadvisor.
The management team wish to restore the faith in customers with a re-evaluation later this summer.
In total, the Food Standards Agency website states out of Flintshire's 181 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 154 (85%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
