NORTH Wales Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision that took place yesterday (May 11).
A motorcyclist has sadly died following a collision between a KTM Duke 125 cc Motorcycle and black VW Transporter Van.
At 2.35pm yesterday (Saturday the 11th of May 2024) police were alerted by the Ambulance Service to the collision. The male rider of the motorcycle was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The collision occurred on the A548 at a junction leading to an unclassified road known as Waterloo Hill between the villages of Llangernyw and Llanfair Talhaiarn.

Investigations are underway and officers are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or were in the area at the time and have dash cam footage to come forward.
Sergeant Emlyn Hughes said: “Sadly we are investigating a fatal road traffic collision and would urge anyone who witnessed the collision or has information to contact me or my colleagues at the Serious Collision Investigation unit on 101 quoting reference number 24000430066.”
The family of the deceased are being supported by a specialist trained Family Liaison Officer and the Coroner has been informed.
