A MAN has been arrested after an alleged wounding incident in Bagillt.
North Wales Police confirmed they were in attendance at an incident on the High Street in the Flintshire town this morning (May 8) and later closed the road.
A 37-year-old man sustained injuries and was air-lifted to hospital following the 'wounding incident' and is currently in a "stable condition".
Police have since confirmed that a 49-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of wounding offences.
Chief Inspector Jon Aspinall said: “We’d like to reassure members of the local community that this appears to have been an isolated incident, and that there is no wider threat to the public.
“However, local officers will continue to conduct high visibility patrols in this area this evening.”
